Sauropod Studio needs you!

Hi everyone!
Sauropod Studio needs you! We’re building a small team of 10-20 people that will help us by reporting issues with the Steam patches. That way we won’t receive thousands of emails about the same minor issue that could have been avoided very easily (remember that first Prototype fiasco!). That little group will have early access to the patches. Remember that we need fast feedback so you would have a couple of days to test it and give us enough information so we can proceed on larger scale distribution.

So here’s how I will make my selection:
Send us a short email explaining why you should be selected. If you’ve already done beta testing or if you are active on the Castle Story community, that’s the kind of thing we want to know. We’ll give you two days to write to us. Wednesday night (EST) I will stop receiving emails and I will start selecting the people who seem the more suitable for the job. If you’re selected, you’ll receive personal email.

I’m willing to put in a few hours of playtime a day per patch. I would love to be involved with the development process.

Great idea with the patching system over Steam!

To keep the flow of recommendations for your game flowing I would appreciate new sounds and music for the background.
Right now it feels to me like some billion grasshoppers want to kill me :D
I know you already worked a lot on it, but I just wanted to say that I can´t wait till it gets updated.
Besides of that a really nice game.
We couldn´t expect any more of a prototype version.

PS: Does anyone know how to effectively build bridges in Castle Story?
If you know an explanation could you please respond with a link or something?
For all you haters: I did google, but I could only find unsatisfying solves for my bridge problem…

    Did you download the first patch? I felt like it solved the cricket problem. Also, if want advice for the game, the forums are a good place to start. Try http://castlestoryonline.com/threads/prototype-castle-builds.1576/ for some building advice.

      It´s a lot better with it, but the atmosphere still feels a little bit annoying to me ;)

Thierry – If I were you I’d ask for specifics about the gaming background of the applicants (how long have you been gaming, what consoles, types of games, etc), their ages and for PC specs. I assume you’d want a variety of PC specs and users to participate.

I’d love to help, but my university’s internet loves to block ports so there’s no way I could be active all the time with the process. Still, can’t wait to get a steam key. :D
